My guess would be a Buell XB12X Ulysses.

We have a winner! Right you are Steve. It's a Buell Ulysses all right and there almost as fun as a Vespa.
No, I don't have any plans to park one of those at my house. I did ride my Brother In-Law's a couple of weeks ago. It was a blast and very fast.
He got it almost new from a Buell dealership. It had some cosmetic damage because somebody dumped it on a test drive.
The Ulysses sits high but has a low center of gravity because the fuel is in the frame. No gas tank.
